I made an AWESOME pair of gloves for an RF build and only one other existed on the market for 2d. Forcing peoples to make the meta builds by nerfing to the core their current is a plain absurd. I’m no mega-expert in PoE but I have ~500 hours in the game and in my limited experience with Rog crafting this league I definitely thought GGG had coded some rough tier-list type thing where Rog would at least be able to tell useful mods from worthless ones. QoL Suggestion: Highlight the matching line of item in essence tab crafting slot on essences (sorry for horrible paint mockup, yes, I literally just copied orange text from a crucible mod over the original line :P) GGG nerfed Saqawal’s Twisters by 50-67%, due to distress on the servers, with no compensation to damage/sustain. Tl:dr answer: Choose good base. The real problem here is not that the game doesn't provide you with options to craft successful, it is the number of tries the game provides the average player with. You wont make mirror items with Rog anyways, so just focus on making solid good all around items. Absolutely, though for belts at least on trade anything that isn't a stygian vise which iirc Rog cannot offer, it's not really worth slamming. The other big ticket rog items are weapons.
